Joining the Choir . . .
If you enjoy singing and have some previous choral and sight reading
experience, or have a good ear for music, we would love you to consider
becoming a member of the choir. Our timetable roughly synchronises with
the three terms of the academic year, so we start rehearsing in September and
finish with our summer concert in July, with a couple of weeks off over
Christmas and Easter. There is a membership subscription to cover the cost
of the rehearsal room and the services of the Musical Director and pianist -
this is currently £35 per term (or £100 per year).
We rehearse every Wednesday evening from 8 to 10pm
at All
Saints Parish Church Hall, Church Road in Fleet. The first meeting
in 2010 was January 20th, and we run through to July 10th before the summer
break.
