PAST CONCERTS Hart Voices 56 (1280x580)

Application deadline: Wednesday 31 July 31 2019

Hart Voices is looking for a Temporary Rehearsal Accompanist to cover a short-term vacancy from September 2019 until mid-July 2020. We rehearse from 20:00 – 22:00 on Wednesday evenings (with holiday breaks at Christmas and Easter), in All Saints Parish Centre, in the centre of Fleet.

We are a friendly mixed voice choir of around 55 voices which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned choir. We normally perform four concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from major choral works to chamber music programmes and the occasional light programme of popular pieces.

We require a temporary rehearsal pianist to accompany the choir on the piano during Wednesday evening rehearsals and possibly for rehearsals on concert days, depending on the music being performed.

There may also be opportunities for a pianist to play solo pieces during a concert, depending on the music being performed, but it is not a requirement and there’s no guarantee that an opportunity will arise during the period in question.
