THE COMMITTEE

Latvian-born pianist Angelina Palmblad gained her Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Jazeps Vitols Music Academy in Riga.

Through an exchange scheme, she also had the privilege to study with Hans-Peter Stenzl at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, Germany.

In 2010 Angelina was invited to study piano accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Her Master’s studies were generously supported by The Leverhulme Trust.

Collaborations with other musicians have enabled her to perform in Greece, Poland, Sweden, Norway and Germany.

In 2011 she was a prize winner at the English Song Competition at GSMD. Since graduating, she has been working as piano teacher and accompanist on a freelance basis.

Angelina joined Hart Voices in February 2017 and thoroughly enjoys working with the choir!
