Concert - Saturday 21 March 2026

Ninebarrow in Concert
with Hart Voices

Saturday 21 March 2026, 7.30pm

All Saints Church, Fleet

Conductor: Roy Rashbrook

Hart Voices is proud to present a truly special evening of music in collaboration with acclaimed folk duo Ninebarrow, celebrating the release of our joint album The Hour of the Blackbird - a project that began with a chance encounter nearly a decade ago that has blossomed into one of the most ambitious and rewarding musical ventures in our history!

Back in 2016, a house gig in Farnborough introduced Hart Voices and our MD, Roy Rashbrook to Ninebarrow’s exquisite harmonies and lyrical storytelling. That moment sparked a creative partnership that culminated in a whirlwind recording weekend in February 2024, where over 40 singers from Hart Voices and the Chantry Singers (Guildford) joined Ninebarrow to reimagine thirteen songs from their back catalogue - now elevated by stunning choral arrangements crafted by Hart Voices’ Musical Director, Roy Rashbrook.

The record brings together Ninebarrow's breathtaking vocal harmonies and melodies, with Roy's masterful and intricate choral arrangements, bringing a new emotional depth and sonic richness to the folk duo's already stunning repertoire, allowing the music to soar with the full power of soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices.

The result is The Hour of the Blackbird - an album of choral-folk fusion that is both bold and beautiful.

Following a triumphant launch concert in Poole in November 2025, we’re delighted to bring this extraordinary collaboration to Fleet. Expect an evening of evocative melodies, soaring harmonies, and musical storytelling that will linger long after the final note.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly for this landmark event, so early booking is strongly advised.
